“There is only one thing that is more expensive in the long run than education, no education.” John F Kennedy
What is SIM EDU?
SIM-EDU is an innovative and sustainable concept that is intended to complement and advance basic and further training in the automotive industry through the targeted use of driving simulation in combination with proven theoretical and practical teaching methods.
We need well-trained specialists with a comprehensive understanding of driving dynamics in order to be able to provide our customers with professional advice in everyday life.
With the current educational plan, learners are well trained in many areas and prepared for everyday working life, but there are always gaps in fundamental topics of driving dynamics (chassis, suspension, damping, tires, steering geometry and their connections).
These focal points will remain relevant in the foreseeable future, regardless of future developments in vehicle technology.
This is where SIM-EDU comes in. With the help of driving simulation, we can create a number of driving situations and make them physically “experienceable” for the learners. The pilot project in the form of an optional course was created in cooperation with the BZ-Emme in Burgdorf. In addition to the driving simulator as a central teaching tool, we also use state-of-the-art telemetry programs and artificial intelligence such as trophi.ai to be able to display data in a simple and understandable way.
SIM-EDU as a new, modern and digital teaching method supports the attractiveness of the professional field in a sustainable, safe and eventful way. Inspiring learners, challenging them and supporting them during their training is one of my main concerns at Marstone-Simracing.
The area of application is not limited to the training of learners. Trained specialists can also benefit from further training specifically tailored to them.
Communicate driving safety and driving dynamics, leave an instructive, lasting impression, all combined with a healthy pinch of fun and love for automobiles:
